Documentation as a deliverable

Public work lives or dies on the closeout package. We deliver as-built drawings, cable Fluke DSX-5000 cable certification reports, device schedules, port maps, fire alarm records of completion and training documentation as part of the job, not as an extra we invoice for later.

NDAA Section 889: we do not carry the banned lines at all

Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act names five manufacturers whose equipment is prohibited on federal work: Huawei, ZTE, Hytera, Hikvision and Dahua. It extends to their subsidiaries and to cameras built on their hardware and rebadged, which is the part that catches people. The brand on the housing is not the same as the manufacturer of the board inside it.

We do not stock, specify or install any of them. Not as a value option, not on residential work, not anywhere. This is worth spelling out, because Part B of the statute reaches the contractor rather than the contract: it looks at equipment used anywhere in a company's operations, not only what was installed on the federal job. A contractor who fits banned cameras on their commercial work is a liability on your project even if your cameras are compliant.

Listed for disaster response in Virginia
