Managed IT & MSP Services
Elite Connect manages the IT for small and mid-sized Hampton Roads businesses: monitored around the clock, patched on a schedule, backed up and verified, with a helpdesk your staff can actually reach. Because we also build the cabling, the network and the security systems, there is no finger-pointing between the IT company and the low-voltage company. It is one company.

What’s included
- 24/7 remote monitoring on servers, workstations and network gear
- Patch management on a schedule, verified not assumed
- Managed endpoint protection and threat response
- Backup with periodic restore testing, because a backup nobody restored is a rumor
- Helpdesk for your staff, by phone, email or portal
- Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration and licensing
- Firewall, VPN and remote-access management
- Vendor management, so we deal with the ISP and the software companies rather than you
- Onboarding and offboarding: accounts created and revoked the same day
- Monthly reporting and a quarterly technology review
The advantage of your IT company owning the wire
Most businesses run two vendors: one who installed the cable, cameras and network, and another who supports the computers. When something breaks, the two blame each other and you sit in the middle paying both to argue.
We do both. The same company that terminated the drop, configured the switch and set the VLANs is the company that answers the helpdesk ticket. That is the whole pitch, and it removes the single most expensive failure mode in small-business IT.
What managed actually means
Managed is not break-fix with a monthly invoice attached. It means agents on every machine reporting health, patches applied on a schedule and verified, backups tested rather than assumed, endpoint protection that someone is actually watching, and a monthly report showing what happened.
It also means we tell you when a machine is about to die instead of after. Proactive is a marketing word until someone shows you the alert history, so we show you the alert history.
Sized for real small businesses
Ten to a hundred seats is our sweet spot: contractors, property management offices, medical and dental practices, professional services, retail with more than one location. Small enough that a national MSP treats you as an account number, big enough that going without IT support costs you real money the first time something goes down.

Questions
Managed IT and MSP Services: common questions
Do I have to switch everything at once?
No. We usually start with monitoring and backup on what you already have, then bring the rest under management as hardware refreshes. A rip-and-replace on day one is how MSP relationships start badly.
What size business is this for?
Roughly ten to a hundred users. Below ten we are often better value as hourly support; above a hundred you likely want a dedicated internal person and us alongside them.
Do you support Macs?
Yes. Monitoring, patching, backup and endpoint protection cover both Windows and macOS.
Is this a long contract?
Managed service is a monthly agreement with a stated term, and we will show you the term and the exit before you sign. We do not use contract length to keep customers who want to leave.
Can you take over from our current IT company?
Yes. We document what exists, get credentials and licensing transferred properly, and run parallel until the handover is clean. We will also tell you honestly if your current provider is doing fine and you do not need us.
