Commercial Fire Alarm Systems
Elite Connect holds a Virginia Class A contractor license with the Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) specialty, so we can design, permit, install and service commercial fire alarm systems ourselves rather than sub them out. Work is built to NFPA 72 and the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code, permitted with the local AHJ, and tested with the inspector present.

Licensed for it, and permitted properly
Fire alarm is the one low-voltage trade where the paperwork is as load-bearing as the wire. A system that works but was never permitted or never had a record of completion is a system that fails your next inspection, your insurance review, or your certificate of occupancy.
We pull the permit, submit the drawings and battery calculations, install to the approved set, and stand the acceptance test with the fire marshal. You get the record of completion, the as-built and the test documentation, the package that proves the system is legal.
Inspection, testing and the annual you have to do anyway
NFPA 72 requires periodic inspection and testing, and the AHJ will ask for the record. We perform annual inspections, device testing and battery replacement, and we deliver the documentation in the format your fire marshal actually accepts.
If you inherited a building with a panel nobody understands and a trouble light nobody has cleared, that is a normal call for us. We map what is there before quoting a replacement.

Are you licensed to install fire alarm systems in Virginia?
Yes. Elite Connect LLC holds Virginia Class A contractor license #2705190126 with both the Electronic/Communication Service (ESC) and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) specialties, and is registered with Virginia DCJS (#11-20830).
Do you pull the fire alarm permit?
Yes. We prepare the drawings and calculations, submit for permit, and coordinate the acceptance test with the local fire marshal. A permitted, inspected and documented system is the deliverable, not just working devices.
Can you inspect a system another company installed?
Yes. We perform NFPA 72 annual inspections and testing on existing systems, and we will give you a written deficiency list rather than a vague recommendation to replace everything.
How long does a commercial fire alarm project take?
Permit review is usually the long pole, not the install. We give you a schedule that separates permit time, rough-in, trim and inspection so you can plan the rest of the job around it.
